MTD is coming into effect from April 2019. Are you ready – we are!
HMRC recently announced their intention of a digitally advanced – one of the most advanced in the world – tax administration. This will make it easier for individuals and businesses to get their taxes right, with less chance of errors and more efficiency and effectiveness.
Businesses will need to use accounting software to store and maintain their records and submit returns.
The first phase will come into effect from 1st April 2019 and will involve businesses who are VAT registered; sole traders and landlords will follow shortly thereafter.
